Conventional UV Lacquers currently used are tuned to the spectrum of Mercury UV lamps and are not suitable for use in LED UV printing. LED UV Lacquers are lacquers formulated according to the LED UV lamp spectrum. LED UV has important advantages such as much lower energy requirement compared to conventional UV, approximately 10 times longer lamp life, much lower heat dissipation, no maintenance, no mercury and ozone gas waste.
